Description
In a world tainted by pollution and neglect, a sick dog limps through an hazardous landscape. The dog is both a victim and a mirror of human indifference. Its frail body carries no promise of tomorrow, only the burden of surviving each day. It does not hope, only endures. In this uncertain present, the dog becomes a living echo of our shared fragility, a silent reminder that the fate of all life is intertwined.
Short Bio
I am Rowell B. Timoteo, from the city of San Fernando, La Union, Philippines. A government employee and currently employed at the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) as Labor and Employment Officer III. When I started my little steps towards pursuing a journey in photography in 2017 and rendering services in a regular day job, I am fascinated with the everyday life where I am able to unravel meaningful stories from borrowing expressions from other people in my surroundings capturing raw and unscripted moments. Until I discovered and learned the art of street photography. With my camera attached with my vision and motivation to observe moments, I am able to weave stories from chance encounters blending it with the extraordinary photographic experience through happenstance. Despite the 8 hours work schedule every day, slowly, my day job and passion with street photography coexisted together. Street photography adds vibrant life to my normal life. The more I immerse with the craft, the better person I am become even in handling day to day decisions at work. It gave me an inspiration to grow and improve.
