Photographer
BETTY GOH

Description
Beneath the gleaming surfaces of the city lies a quiet resistance. In a world shaped by expectations, we learn to wear masks, to move with the crowd, to mute the wild, unspoken parts of ourselves. Urban life demands composure, but behind each silhouette is a soul wrestling with unseen weights. This image captures that invisible tension—the push and pull between who we are and who we are told to be. It is a portrait of stillness, yet within it, a storm brews silently.
