A Thursday Afternoon
Photographer
Kyr Andreau Patria
Country
Philippines
Description
Upon arriving in Tokyo for the first time after staying in Osaka, the afternoon itinerary was pretty much free-time for the rest of the company to do anything; thus I decided to take a stroll to Hamacho park which was a few blocks away from the hotel. A group of children and their coach, were playing tee-ball when we arrived there, casted under the fading light as I took this shot.
Short Bio
Kyr Patria is a Filipino freelance photographer who previously worked as a photojournalist under the Weekly Silliman, the Silliman Magazine and as a member of the Silliman University Camera Club during his time in college, where he won both 1st and 2nd place for the latter's best intramurals photo of 2024 and whose photos of the endangered Visayan spotted deer have been featured on two University articles as well as on Google. By chance, right after graduating he was able to explore Japan on a two-week family trip, taking heaps of pictures along the way instead of taking a long due vacation.
