現代の東京では、花を持って歩いている人を見ることはあまり多くはないと思います。人々は、たとえ目の前に美しい花があったとしても、スマートフォンに夢中のように見えます。 しかしそんな世の中であっても、花のように美しく、興味深い瞬間というのはまだまだあるものです。 このプロジェクトでは、美しい花に関連した瞬間だけではなく、最新の流行と伝統、混沌と秩序が入り混じった現代の東京に対する、私なりの捉え方を表現できればと考えています。

It is not usual to see someone holding flowers in present Tokyo. People seems more interested in the contents in their smartphones even if there is a beautiful flower in front of them. However, if we see the world carefully enough, we can recognize that there are still lots of beautiful and interesting moments like flowers, which people usually don’t even notice. In this project, I tried not only to capture the moments related to flowers, but also to show my interpretation of current Tokyo which is a mix of latest trends and tradition, chaos and cosmos.
