Kinesis 方向性を欠き、刺激の強さに依存する動き（Merriam-Webster）意図的なカメラの動き（ICM）を使って、動いているメルボルンを撮影しています。これらの写真は、都市生活の印象を与えている。私の目標は、シーンのリズムと感覚を捉えることである。ぼやけた線、幽霊のような人物、消えていく形は、日々の生活の目に見えないエネルギーを何らかの形で表しているのだ。モーションブラーを使った作品の不確実性は、失望と驚きの両方をもたらし、私はこれらの可能性を常に探求しています。私は、モーションブラーは創造的で活気のある写真撮影の一形態であると考えている。

Kinesis a movement that lacks directional orientation and depends upon the intensity of stimulation (Merriam-Webster) Using Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) I photograph Melbourne in motion. These photographs present an impression of city life. My goal is to capture the rhythm and feeling of a scene - blurred lines, ghostly figures and disappearing shapes somehow manifest the invisible energy of day to day life. The uncertainty of working with motion blur can bring both disappointment and surprise and I’m continually drawn to explore these possibilities. I see motion blur as a creative and energising form of photography.
