撮りたいけれど撮れないこんな世の中じゃ

Want to take photos...but not for now

こんにちは。クドーコーヘイです。

海外スナップ後編とか撮影テクニックなんかをまとめてみようと思ったのですが、今の世の中を見てちょっとそんな気分になれませんでした・・・

他のフォトグラファーの皆さんも今週末は外出自粛となり、家でうずうずしてるものかと思います。

自粛なんだしええじゃん！店が閉まって誰もいない渋谷を撮りに行こうぜ！なんていうノリは辞めておきましょう。

写真家として移り行く街の光景を記録するのは非常に大切なことです。しかし、規律や道徳を破ってまで撮った写真に価値はないと思います。風景写真などでも立ち入り禁止区域で撮った絶景ってどうなの？って思います。本当に腕があればどこだって絶景とれますもんね。

そこで今回は撮影とは違う話をしてみようと必死に考えました。しかし、不幸なことに僕は映画を見たり、本を読んだりと全く達者ではありません。色々考えて今さら自己紹介的な昔話をしましょう。興味ないかもしれませんがよろしくお願いします！

I think many street photographers are now feeling frustrated about not being able to take photos outside because of the spread of COVID-19 - however at this time, it is the best to stay at home.

I understand it is one of the enchantments of street photography to capture the ever-changing scenery of the street, however I am rather skeptical about the value of photos taken without any considerations to the public order or ethical viewpoint. “Good photographers”, in my definition, can take good photos in whatever situation they are in.

So this time, I couldn’t think of any useful tips about street photography, so I’d like to share my background as a street photographer.

１．ストリートはじめました

First time on the street

僕がストリートフォトを始めたのは2019年1月です。ほんと何も知識がないまま、コンデジ片手に街に繰り出しました。興味あるものはとりあえずやってみる精神です。

ほんとにストリートスナップが楽しくて夢中で色んなものを撮っていました。

VoidTokyoさんの写真に憧れて始めたので、もっぱら渋谷で人と街を撮っていました。

その頃の写真です↓。3月の渋谷ストリームです。作風は今も変わらずですね。
